Beans With Ground Beef


  1. n 12 oz cans of pinto beans
  2. n/2 lbs ground beef
  3. n yellow onions
  4. 3n cloves garlic
  5. 3n tsp ground cumin
  6. n tsp fresh ground pepper
  7. kosher salt
  8. olive oil
  9. other fresh vegitables; experiment (broccoli works well)


  1. Chop onions and other vegetables and fry in oil, over fairly low heat until onions are glassy
  2. put in hopped garlic, pepper, cumin, and ground beef and stir
  3. cook another 2 or 3 minutes
  4. add beans (don't drain the beans) and stir
  5. throw in a few pinches of kosher salt
  6. cover and cook on lowish heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
